The course aims to  provide  theoretical and practical aspects  of  global talent management highlighting the role of  talented employees and human  capital at different levels of organizational behavior to ensure a firm’s sustainable growth,   innovative  breakthrough   and  competitive  advantage  in  global environment.

The course is intended as overview of global talent management approaches with focus on the creation and development of firm’s competitive advantage through people from strategic point of view in international business.

Nowadays every manager is talent manager as deals with people and teams despite professional/functional areas of employment. Talent management competence provides necessary conditions for effective leadership and performance results.

Education results

The main perspective in the course is different talent management approaches and practices aims to attract, develop and retain the core employees who help to drive organization’s vision and ensure its success in both local and international environment. As one of the key challenges for global managers is to identify, develop and retain the right people to achieve firm’s strategic goals and create competitive advantage, the course aims to focus on key areas that bring about company’s success via understanding of talent management practices in global environment. This holistic view enables students to reach a deep understanding of phenomenon of global talent management and learn how different managerial practices may support a firm’s strategic orientation.

Formed competencies

УКБ-1: Способен участвовать в разработке и реализации проектов, в т.ч. предпринимательских.

УКБ-2: Способен устанавливать и поддерживать взаимоотношения в социальной и профессиональной сфере, исходя из нетерпимости к коррупционному поведению и проявлениям экстремизма.

УКС-4: Способен представлять сведения о профессиональной деятельности на языке, понятном неспециалистам, взаимодействовать с представителями различных культур, в том числе в сферах обязательного использования государственного языка РФ, с учетом особенностей различных стилей языка.

УКБ-2: Способен определять круг задач в рамках поставленной цели и выбирать оптимальные способы их решения, исходя из действующих правовых норм, имеющихся ресурсов и ограничений, в т.ч. финансовых, участвовать в разработке и реализации проектов, в т.ч. предпринимательских.

УКБ-4: Способен осуществлять деловую профессионально ориентированную коммуникацию в устной и письменной формах на иностранном(ых) языке(ах).

УКБ-7: Способен управлять своим временем, выстраивать и реализовывать траекторию саморазвития на основе принципов образования в течение всей жизни.
