This course contains theoretical and practical materials on organisational culture, business communication, the main characteristics and reasons of conflicts in organisations, exit strategies and stress management. 


The course aims at shaping the complex knowledge on the theory and methodology of organisational conflict management and stress management, forming practical skills of using different conflict resolution techniques which learners can further use in their professional activities. In addition to theoretical information, many practical tasks and cases are provided by the authors of this course. Course teaching staff include conflict scientists, a psychologist, a mediator, and a specialist in differential psychology. Students will learn the latest techniques in managing organizational conflicts, negotiating,neuro-linguistic programming, and stress management. This course will be useful for all managers and students studying this discipline.

3. Approaches to Defining Conflict, Conflict Structure. Analysis of Conflict Dynamics. Classification of Conflicts in the Organization. Analysis of the Causes of Conflicts in the Organization. Case Studies on the Analysis of the Causes of Organizational Conflicts: Movie Fragments. Strategies and Techniques for Overcoming Organizational Conflicts. Video Case on the Strategies of K. Thomas: Scenes, Analysis, Summary of Material. Interview with a Certified Mediator. Interview with an Organizational Psychologist and a Master Class.

4. The Essence of Business Negotiations. Types of Business Negotiations. Structure of Business Negotiations. Negotiation Strategies. Negotiating Cases: Movie Fragments. The Concept and Essence of NLP. The Methodology of Applying NLP in Business Negotiations. Workshop on the Use of NLP Techniques in Negotiations. Fundamentals of Physiognomy, Graphology and Other Assessment methods.

5. The Concept and Causes of Stress. Features of Organizational Stress. What is the Danger of Stress for the Health? The Concept of Stress Management. Coping Strategies. Interview with a Certified Personality Typologist. Socionics, Human Design, Psychosophy and other Techniques for Forming Anti-stress Behavior

6. Current Trends in Conflict Management. Rules for Successful Negotiations. Stress Management Techniques in the Modern World. Viewing and Analyzing Fragments from the Movie “The Devil Wears Prada” (Directed by David Frankel, 2006).

7. Final test

Students will learn the latest techniques in managing organizational conflicts, negotiating,neuro-linguistic programming, and stress management.

The discipline is aimed at the formation of universal competencies of students in the educational programs of the bachelor's / specialist's degree, as well as other competencies provided for by the educational program.

УКБ-7 Способен управлять своим временем, выстраивать и реализовывать траекторию саморазвития на основе принципов образования в течение всей жизни.
